Although it was jealous of their freedom, it was always relieved in the morning when the other pigs were let out to wander the fields. its ball chain let it just reach the slop bucket. it wasn’t strong enough to push the other pigs out of the way so always had to make do with licking the bottom of the bucket for leftovers, hoping a few smears of swill had been left behind.
